Gilgal
Gilgal is the site where the people encamped at the eastern corner of Jericho after crossing the Jordan. The children of Israel kept the Passover there in the plains of Jericho. Joshua and the fighting people repeatedly went up from Gilgal and returned to the camp there after battles.
