Japhia
Japhia was king of Hebron who sent secretly to the kings of Ai, Gibeon, Shalem, Adulam, Lachish and Chazar. The kings of the Amorites later assembled and came to him at Hebron. He and his captains met the sons of Jacob on the road, after which he sent a man so that the kings came and bowed before Jacob and his sons. Another verse names Japhia as king of Lachish, contacted by Adonizedek king of Jerusalem.
