Sin
The wilderness of Sin is a location beyond which Moses fed the flock of Reuel the Midianite. The Israelites journeyed from Elim and came to the wilderness of Sin on the fifteenth day of the second month after leaving Egypt, then proceeded from there to encamp in Alush. It served as a boundary in the exploration of Canaan from the wilderness of Sin to Rechob, and the congregation later came to it in the first month of the fortieth year, dwelling in Kadesh of the wilderness of Sin where Miriam died.
