East
The Mount of the East is listed as one of the four places on the earth belonging to the Lord, together with the Garden of Eden, Mount Sinai, and Mount Zion. Lands towards the East facing the desert are where Ishmael and his sons and the sons of Keturah dwelt, from Paran to the entering in of Babylon. Mesopotamia is called the land of the East, and Jacob traveled to the land of the children of the East before returning to Haran.
