Madai
Madai is listed among the sons of Japheth, who are sons of Noah. He is the father of Melka. As his portion he received land from the west of his two brothers to the islands and coasts. Displeased with the land of the sea, he obtained a dwelling-place from Ham, Asshur and Arpachshad and named it Media after himself.
