Eber was a son born in the fifth year 1503 A.M. and he took a wife named Azurad, the daughter of Nebrod. Shelach begat Eber and to Eber were born two children, one named Peleg. Peleg the son of Eber died in the forty-eighth year of the life of Abram. Shem son of Noah is called father of all the children of Eber.
